ARCH ENEMY Cancel Chilean Show, US/Japanese Dates Unaffected
February 17, 2002ARCH ENEMY have cancelled their Santiago, Chile show, which was scheduled to take place on March 1st, due to a communication breakdown between the band's management company, Sanctuary, and the Chilean promoter. The promoter commented: I apologize to the band, as they are not to blame for these situations, and they are completely innocent. Ticket pre-sales was pretty good, so that is definitely not the reason for my decision (to cancel the show). ARCH ENEMY are said to be disappointed about the cancellation and want to return to Chile at a later date. Guitarist Michael Amott stated: It's a shame that this won't happen now. We love our Chilean fans and we hope to play for them soon! The band's tour schedule remains the same in the USA and Japan. More live dates will be added soon.
